Vaccines
Unvaccinated pets run the risk of contracting serious illnesses. In order to protect the health of your pet, this facility requires documentation showing that all boarding dogs have current Rabies, DHPPC, and Bordetella vaccines, and cats have current rabies and FVRCP vaccines. If any of your pets’ vaccinations are past due, they must be inoculated before boarding. Vaccines that must be administered at this facility or by a licensed veterinarian working with this facility will be added to your bill. Pets that are young and have not completed their entire series of vaccinations may not yet be protected and, thus, will not be allowed to board at our facility
Medications
If your pet will be receiving medication during their stay, it must be in the original veterinary-labeled container with instructions for administration and your veterinarian’s phone number. Fees for medications that need to be filled or refilled during the time your pet is boarded will be added to your bill. We do not use our in-house stock. Medication administration is an additional charge of $34.75 per day of the owner’s medication.
Diet
During the extent of your pet boarding with us, we kindly ask that you provide your own food to avoid further gastrointestinal issues that your pet may be experiencing due to stressors of being in an unfamiliar environment. If the food you have brought is insufficient during the extent of your pet's stay, please indicate above if your pet prefers canned, dry or a mixture of both. We will provide the pet with our in-house gastrointestinal diet that may be easy on the stomach. We do not provide any other prescription diets for boarding patients.
Physical Exam
As an AAHA accredited hospital, your pet's health is our biggest priority. If your pet has not had a physical exam within the last year and a half, we require that your pet receives an exam to detect any abnormalities before it becomes a concern. If your pet is on any cardiac medications, it is extremely important to have more frequent exams to ensure the health of your pet has not gotten worst and to certify that the medications prescribed to your pet is working for your pet.
